One of my first design jobs was to draw and design a business sign for the National Theatre. I did this for a week, the architectural drawings were of course helpful. There were no computers or drawing programs then. Interesting work in that it shows the power of graphic design. The trademark has been in use for over 40 years, and the viewer can immediately see which building and company it is. (1978)
